Buying your first home is more of an education process than simply a math lesson. My job is to educate my borrowers and explain the home loan procedure in a manner that is easy-to-understand. In addition to my complimentary in-office consultation, I have access to many supplemental training tools that can ease the stress of your purchase.
The process of purchasing a home can be very challenging. From the preliminary research through the settlement process, I will be with you every step of the way. Most importantly, you will benefit from my "Lender for Life" approach. Your benefits do not simply end with your purchase.
Some important questions to ask your lender:
- How much down payment is necessary for my particular loan?
- I heard that you can get a 1% loan on your home, is this true?
- What is the definition of a Good Faith Estimate and how binding is it?
- What is an "escrow" account and am I required to have one?
- Can I make extra payments to pay off my mortgage early?
- What is an ARM loan and how do they work?
These are just some of the typical questions that many of my First Time Home Buyers have. Should you have additional questions, please contact me at chrisg@union-mtg.com or by calling 301.794.6753. |
